I planted some hens and chicks in our garden here in honor of the community garden back in LIC. I will always have a special place in my heart for the LIC Community Garden, which was founded by Jolie's mom. When I told Jolie about the hens and chicks, which she also happens to have in the flower boxes in her windows, she asked if they were flowering yet because, "They're so cool when they do." That they are!
